1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and software development tools. They can keep a website operating, remember choices, measure use or support external services.
First-party cookies are set by the website you visit. Third-party cookies are set by another service, for example an embedded video, analytics provider or social platform. Session cookies normally expire when the browser closes; persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted.

3. External services and embedded media
The website links to or may embed services such as WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social platforms. Clicking a link takes you to the provider's website. Playing embedded media may allow that provider to receive technical information and set its own cookies. The production website should use privacy-enhanced, click-to-load video where practical.
The final cookie inventory will identify each active cookie or similar technology, its provider, purpose, type and duration. It should be regenerated after a plugin, host or marketing tool changes.
4. How to manage your choices
On the public website, visitors should be able to accept or reject non-essential cookies through a clear consent banner and reopen cookie settings later. Rejecting should be as accessible as accepting where required. Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it.
You can also control or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms, language preferences or security functions from working correctly. Browser controls do not always remove server logs or information already lawfully processed.
